Hello,
This message most likely does not apply to you but would you mind reading
it and passing it on if you know someone who might be interested?
I am interested in exploring possibilities for a job exchange for up to 6
months in the second half of 1999 with an academic from the UK or North
America. I am not sure exactly what the process will involve but the first
step is to find a willing partner!
I teach research methods, statistics to undergraduates and postgraduates in
the School of Physiotherapy at The University of Melbourne in Australia. I
also advise staff, higher degree students and staff from the Clinical
Schools on research design and data analysis, sit on the School Research
and Ethics Committee and manage the use of IT in the school.
The School of Physiotherapy is a young and dynamic school whose students
are selected from the top few percent of university qualified applicants.
The 4 year Bachelors program is very well regarded by both graduates and
employers.
I am primarily interested in swapping the research methods teaching and
advising part of my position with someone with similar position in allied
health, psychology or applied research methods. While my first preference
would be to be located in a PT School I will gladly consider other options
such as a member of staff of a department which provides these services
into a PT school.
Do you know someone who might be interested?
