The Open Journal project announces its first open-access demonstrator, in
this case highlighting the process of citation linking, courtesy ISI and
Professor Stevan Harnad. Regular readers of this list will be aware of the
project philosophy, but why not see for yourself how it works. Come to the
project's site at
http://journals.ecs.soton.ac.uk/
and click on the highlighted box 'Try an Open Journal' in the right-hand
column.
You will will have to hurry, though, as our agreements on open access to
the contained materials run only to the **end of May**.
Don't forget to let us know what you thought. There's a Web form linked to
