The Journal of Information Law and Technology (JILT) is seeking
articles for a special feature on 'Globalisation and E-Commerce' to be
included in issue 1998 (3), the deadline for submissions is 15th
September 1998 and it will go online on 30th October.
Guest Editor, Alistair Kelman, plans for the issue to discuss the
legal and regulatory issues that relate to E-Commerce. The projections
indicate E-Commerce will constitute a $200billion market by the year
2002. The issue will also look back at the European Commission
consultation document by Stefano Micossi, the CEC Director-General for
Industry 'Creating a Favourable Business Environment for Electronic
Commerce: The Role of European Industrial Policy' (January 1998) and
place the year's developments in context.
In addition, JILT welcomes book reviews, conference reports,
software reviews and demos on these issues.
