Dear all,
this is a slightly odd post ... i hope it's a reasonable request ...
I've recently been working on issues of globalization, borders and
(extra)territoriality and am now trying to do some work on transnational
(cross-border, more precisely) NGOs - particularly environment and
development NGOs - and the ways in which their trans-nationality affects
the way they operate .... what problems and possibilities
trans-nationality brings and how the NGOs deal with the problems which
arise.
I was wondering whether there is anyone out there doing similar stuff - I
had heard rumours of research projects at Durham and Loughborough for a
start. If there is, I'd really like to hear from you as I'd like to have
a chat about some of the issues involved.
best wishes,
alan
