I have been following the discussion with interest.
What would be an appropriate way to group repeated elements (using the HTML
Meta element) when they contain 'multiline metadata'? For example, if more
than one type of Relation is to be specified:
<meta name="DC.Relation.Identifier"
content="http://purl.org/metadata/dublin_core_elements">
<meta name="DC.Relation.Type" content="IsBasedOn">
<meta name="DC.Relation.Identifier" content="http://foo.bar.com">
<meta name="DC.Relation.Type" content="References">
The DC.Relation.Identifiers (URLs) need to be associated with the
appropriate DC.Relation.Type. I take it this would be handled in XML as
Misha Wolf (10/22/97) has represented it:
<DC:Relation>
<Type>IsBasedOn</Type>
<Identifier>http://purl.org...</Identifier>
</DC:Relation>
<DC:Relation>
<Type>References</Type>
<Identifier>http://foo.bar.com</Identifier>
</DC:Relation>
But that doesn't solve the problem for HTML.
Recommendations?
