Hi all,
The eLib programme recently funded a small number of Hybrid Library
demonstrator projects. (Project work officially began as of 1st January).
These projects focus on development of an integrated library service which
provides seamless access to library resources (both electronic and
non-electronic).
We recognise that much of this type of "hybrid library" work is ongoing in
libraries beyond just those given eLib funding. We would therefore like to
invite others working in hybrid library activities to attend events eLib
organises for the hybrid library projects.
We have our first Hybrid Library concertation day on 10th March. The day
is intended to provide a forum for the projects to discuss issues and share
experiences. A provisional programme for the day is below.
If you are interested in attending the day and would like more details
(time, venue etc.) please contact either myself or Elizabeth Graham at the
eLib Programme Office.
***However, please note that we do like to keep these events on a
relatively small scale to allow for adequate discussion. This being the
case, we would ask that anyone interested in attending please explain how
they are involved in hybrid library work and why they would like to attend.
We will then send an invitation to you.
More information on eLib and its projects can be found on the eLib web site

Kind regards
Kelly Russell
