Dear Stu,
Translations were considered and it was decided that they are a kind of
creative derivation, authored by someone other than the original creator,
and BasedOn the work. As you know, translation range from being literal to
being highly interpretive, as are movie versions of books, or plays or
musical scores when preformed.
