At the Institutional Web Management workshop held at Newcastle University on
15-17 Sept I asked participants to complete a form listing their preferences
for future events, such as day-long workshops at specific topics. I have
now analysed 58 forms (many thanks to everyone for completed these and the
workshop evaluation forms - they've be very useful in planning future
events).
Participants were asked to express their interest (very, slightly or not) in
attending events in 8 named areas and to list any additional areas they are
interested in.
The results are given below.
I'd be interested in any comments, particularly in how to satisfy this
demand. One suggestion that has been made is that regional web groups could
address these areas, and that we should encourage sharing of materials and
possibly speakers between the regions. Is this a sensible suggestion?
Thanks
Brian
