Well, it's better than the Local Ireland proposal of getting every
small town to set up pages indexed by the Dewey Decimal System!
However, Dublin Core is so focussed on a bibliographic view of the
world, it would be stretching it somewhat to handle the indexing of a
virtual world, built up of many virtual campuses (or should that be
campu?).
Has anyone thought of applying the Resource Description Format (RDF) to
this problem? Or setting up an AI project to link RDF to a case-based
reasoning system to help people searching for something when they do
not even know the words to use or questions to ask?
