Dear SPMers,
I'm now analyzing the data of event-related fMRI.
My study is very simple (ABAB...design; A=event,B=control). I want to determine
the hrf-related response, and response with some time-delay from event-onset
(or different shape of hrf).
When I select 'hrf with time derivetives' for the basis function,
Two columns of design matrix appeared as covariates of interest.
But I cannot understand the meaning of these columns.
Perhaps the first column means the original hrf itself, I think.
1) If so, what does the second column mean?
2) As contrasts, SPM requires 2 values in this analysis (1 for the first column
and another for the second). How can I combine these contrasts for
appropriate analysis?
