A college of mine is doing some research on accidents on his local line. He
has copies of the accidents reports, but he understands that it was the
practice for a series of photographs to taken of the accident site. These
photographs, he believes, should have found their way into the NRM's
collections, however they are indexed in their own series and there does
not appear to be an obvious way to obtain the photographs that refer to a
particular report.
Can any one suggest a way of doing this?
We have been told that an article containing a method of doing this was
published in one of the Line Societies magazines some time ago, but so far
we have not been able to locate it.
