Hi Everybody!
I' new to the list. My name is Erika Topolewska, and I work as technician
at St Andrews Museum, St Andrews, Fife, Scotland.
>From mid-January, the museum will be exhibiting a group of fossil fish
slabs fron the old red sandstone beds of Dura Den,by Cupar,Fife, excavated
over a period
of eighty years from ~1836. The main types found are holoptychius,
bothryolepis, phaneropleuron. We would love to be able to include
information about the distribution of examples of these slabs held by
museums and other institutions around the world, to indicate the
importance of this locality to our visitors.
If anyone can provide current information, qw would be most grateful.
Thank you very much. A guid New Year t' ane an' a'!!
Erika Topolewska.
