Dear Alan and Ken,
Many thanks for your thoughtful and informative comments. I admit that I
like the term "attitudes" and found your posting of great interest.
You wrote:

origins of these variations without premature judgement before the facts
are in.>>
With respect to the "attitude" of forefoot varus, some excellent and
insightful discussion on the possible origins of this foot type has flowed
from the recent work of Bob Kidd in Sydney, Australia (Forefoot varus -
real or false, fact or fantasy. A.J.P.M. Vol. 31. No. 3. 1997.
pp81-86).
Have you published anything on your ideas yet? They are very interesting.
I'd be fascinated to read of your thoughts and ideas on the possible
origin(s) of the rearfoot varus/valgus attitudes.
It's great to hear from you and I hope this posting finds you both well.
Kind regards,
Eric Lee.
