Hi:

   I agree with Dr. Grossan, but I would like to now if the place of
leakage was detected. This can sometimes be done using fluorosein and
seeing it with a special light using an endoscope.
   The problem I see is that sometimes there are spontaneous fistulas
that can be produced by blowing the nose, as an example. This fistula
can be the result of the septoplasty or, maybe only happened
simultaneously.
   Is a good teaching experience for all of us. Maybe is better to cut
the ethmoid plate with Cottle scissors or something similar in the
superior part, where we can damage the cribiform plate.
