Hi Kathy--
Have you seen how manys posts there are lately on the sinus support group
from people who had negative results from surgery?
You must have seen my post to the nose mailbase some weeks back
on microdebridment? Not one person answered me.( I asked the docs to comment
on this technique. )
Would this work for you?
I see that you are the only one who bothered to read the article on
naturopathic endonasal treatment.
Are you following a dairy & sugar free diet like that naturopath says to do?

MICRODEBRIDMENT
A person with whom I am communicating is an OR scrub
nurse and she sent me the following message
about a new method of doing sinus surgery called "microdebridment".
---------------------------------------------------------------
The old way of doing sinus surgery involved small forceps that would
grab and cut and tear the tissue blocking the sinus. Needless to say this
would cause alot of bleeding and scarring. This new method uses an
instrument that is similar to what's used for knee arthroscopy. It's an
electrically powered device shaped like a long tube with an opening at
the
end. Inside of the tube is a blade that does the cutting. The debrider is
hooked up to suction so that the tissue is drawn into the tip and then as
the blade inside ossilates at 3000 rpm it is cut cleanly instead of being
torn. This greatly reduces the bleeding and scarring. Repeat patients
tend
to bleed more, but that is because there is some scar tissue involved.
Using
the debrider the healthy tissue of the sinus is not harmed and the tissue
that is covering the opening of the sinus is removed so that the sinuses
can
drain and no longer become infected.
