Dear Nose members,

We now have 257 members on the list from varied backgrounds. Naturally much of the discussion is 
related to clinical problems as we have a majority of clinicians as members. I am still keen to keep 
the list broad based so do not hesitate to raise scientific topics or indeed anything related to the 
nose. The membership is still unrestricted and apart from a few minor problems now and then this 
appears to be working well.

One change I have introduced today is the reply facility on the NOSE 
mail. In the past the default was that any reply to NOSE mail automatically went to all the list. I 
have now changed this option so that replies to NOSE mail will now only go to the author. You can of 
course send mail to the whole list by posting to 

[log in to unmask]

and I would encourage this as it helps general discussion. However in future you will need to 
actively type in this address rather than just hitting the reply button on your mailer. 

Hopefully this change will help avoid some problems where mail has been sent in error to all the 
list. But please feel free to mail the whole list,
