Another experience - which I wouldn't call joint presiding!: a visiting
bishop (retired and of another country)comes to the eucharist. He
is offered to let him preside the whole celebration eucharist but he
preferred to let the local presbyter preside. But he leads the eucharistic prayer.
The presbyter clearly presides but in a spirit of fraternal charity offers the bishop
to pray the great prayer. the unity of the celebration is in tact and
fraternal charity is expressed....Both presbyter and bishop are trained
in liturgical theology.....
