Call for nominations: the Best UK Public Library Websites

EARL, the consortium for public library networking, is pleased to announce its 1998 Best on the Web awards. As public library presence on the World Wide Web has continued to develop so much in the last year, we look forward to receiving many nominations!
The awards for the best UK public library pages celebrate the best of what UK public libraries are doing on the Web.
Nominations are invited under one or more of the following headings:
1) Best information content
2) Best interactive features
3) Best collections of Internet resources
4) Best design and usability
Nominations can include just the web address, or point to specific
features. You can nominate your own authority, or others. You'll find a
listing of sites at http://ds.dial.pipex.com/harden/weblibs.html
The results of the 1997 awards can be found at http://www.earl.org.uk/earlweb/awards.html
