Dear All
A question for those libraries providing Current Awareness Services.
We are thinking of providing monthly SDI's using data from Medline, PsycL=
it,
Embase, BIDS Science Citation Index and also a journal contents page serv=
ice
making use of the BIDS AutoJournals service or other services.
What are your charging policies (if any) for these types of service?
For SDI services do you provide abstracts or just the tile/author/source
information?
Is there a limit on the number of references you will supply to a person?
What is the format of the bulletin? Is it an email/printout of references
from each separate database or do you import the references into Referenc=
e
Manager type software and sort them before publishing as one long referen=
ce
list?
Have you encountered any problems in providing such services? Any advice
appreciated.
Thanks in advance
