This new post requires a dynamic information librarian to join a team
supporting the Faculty of Medicine and Biological Sciences.
Responsibilities will include liaison with academic departments and
research groups, enquiry support, co-ordination of user education for
medical undergraduates, and sharing the development and exploitation
of electronic information services. Based at the Clinical Sciences
Library, the successful applicant will work across a number of sites.
Applicants should hold a good honours degree or equivalent,
preferably in science/applied science, and a postgraduate
qualification, or equivalent, in Librarianship or Information
Science. Experience of working with medical information is required,
preferably within an academic environment.
