Floor Services Co-Ordinator
Salary in the range £14,981 - £17,006
Applications are invited for the post of Floor Services Co-ordinator in the
University of London Library. This post provides an excellent career
progression for someone who wishes to gain a good grounding in basic
management skills and contribute to the development of user services in
this large academic Library.
The overall aim of the post is to ensure that open access self-service
areas of the Library are properly maintained for the benefit of users.
Responsibilities include the maintenance of public access terminals and
PC's; supervision of shelving and shelf-tidying activities; maintenance and
production of signposting and Library notices; and dealing with general
enquiries. The postholder will also assist with the servicing of the Map
Collection and British Government Publications.
We are looking for an individual who is able to work on their own
initiative within established guidelines, and who has an interest in and
competence of PC-based graphics and Library applications.
