Dear Iain,
If the CD's are not permanantly housed in the PC's try using your issue
system and issue the Databases for internal usage to your borrowers
under a CD specific loan category.
Your circulation stats will then show you which titles are being used,
and also who is using the CD-ROMs - quite a useful tool in relevance
arguments with faculties, cost justification etc. I know that this does
not quite answer your query but I hope it helps.
Best wishes
Donald

Dear Colleagues,
Does anyone know of any cheap/free utility that will measure the use
made of the CD-ROM titles on a standalone workstation?
All the solutions I can find are for networked resources.
I used to be able to log the use when we ran DOS but now we have
switched to Windows 95 I am at a loss.
Rgds,
Iain Noble
