I used to work as Cornelia Parker's assistant in my youth . . . travelled
Europe setting up stunning but difficult installation art projects.
However much I consider myself to be a defender of conceptual arts, the
experience of suspending a few thousand pebbles and bricks from an East
German ceiling (with around 2" of plaster on it) was trying to say the
least.
I do still love her work though . . . and Breath of a Librarian made me
laugh . . .
