The answer is indeed yes, we are in the process of setting up a
mailbase list for discussion and dissemination of information about
NESLI. An announcement should be forthcoming in the next few days.
As Ian says, the UKSG/ALPSP meeting on 21 May
is fully booked, so no further publicity is being done for it.
However THE NESLI Managing Agent plans to hold several regional
seminars/meetings etc. in the near future to explain what NESLI is
all about and how we plan to go about it. Further electronic and
printed material is being produced as quickly as possible. The NESLI
web-site will be accessible by the end of June, perhaps sooner, with
information about NESLI and what the Managing Agent will be doing.
We want to make sure that as many people as possible in UK HE
Libraries, and in electronic publishing world-wide, know about
NESLI, and will be doing all we can to spread the word far and
wide.
