Brief tests of collection strengths
We are trying to develop a collection management policy, and are looking
for ways of measuring collection strengths which are not impossibly labour
intensive.
We have looked at White's Brief tests of collection strengths but feel
that they are too American biased to be valid over here. Has anybody
else tried them, and would they agree?
Has anyone tried to develop more appropriate lists or other brief tests?
We would be interested to hear.
Many thanks
