Library Assistant
Would you like to gain valuable library experience?
A vacancy exists for a Library Assistant to work in the busy Circulation
Section of this large academic library. In addition to the usual
circulation routines, other duties such as basic reader enquiries and
instruction of members in catalogue use also form part of the Circulation
Section work.
Instruction in other areas of the section's work is ongoing and all staff
participate in the Library's training programme.
The successful applicant will possess good interpersonal communication
skills, enjoy working as part of a team and respond to the demands of the
job with common sense and good humour. The post would be suitable for an
individual seeking pre-qualification library experience.
Salary in the range £11,433 - £13,233 (incl. L.A.)
