Can anyone help me confirm whether there are any other
significant compilers or publishers (other than ISI) that produce
citations databases similar to ISI's Science, Social Sciences and
Arts & Humanities Citation Indexes?
My understanding is that ISI is the only real contender in the
citations research field -- but does anyone know of an alternative
source? I have been recently fielding queries from academics who
insist alternatives exist, but when pressed for details, cannot
identify them...
Please address replies directly to me rather than to the list; I will
summarise responses and post them subsequently.
Thank you.
