Dear Colleagues
We have the usual Equal Opportunities Policy for the College, but are
now seeking to apply it within Learning Resources and so we are in the
process of developing a more formal approach. We want to prepare some
guidelines for staff who are responding to any complaint regarding any
item in our stock or to use when weeding. We don't want to carry out
heavy-handed censorship, but want to be able to respond in a considered
way.
Has anyone prepared something similar, or know of any library-focused
guides to equal ops.
I will of course summarise any replies for the list.
