The CoLRiC annual Information and Learning Technology award
The Council for Learning Resources in Colleges (CoLRiC) has just initiated a
new annual award for members of CoLRiC, to celebrate and promote good
practice and high standards in the provision of Information and Learning
Technology (ILT).
The ILT provision must be associated with a college’s learning resources or
library service, and be currently available for students and/or academic
staff of the college.
Members of CoLRiC who believe that they have innovated and achieved success
in developing an aspect of information and learning technology provision
since September 1997 are being encouraged to apply. There are many
exciting developments that could be submitted for the award. Examples of
the sort of submissions that will be judged are:
internet pages of the learning resources service or library
intranet pages developed by the learning resources service or library
interactive learning networks developed by the learning resources service or
library
development of learning materials and study guides for use on the internet
or intranet, as developed by the learning resources service or library
The award has a value of £500 and a plaque. Submissions for the award must
be received by February 28th, 1999, and the award will be presented to the
winner at CoLRiC’s Annual Meeting in June.
If you would like any further information, please contact CoLRiC at the
