Something that we've started to do here at South Bank is to hide the
passwords behind some simple Perl scripts, which can be launched thru a
web browser but can only be executed from within the university campus.
So we can restrict access to passwords to our users only but provide
easy access from the web.
If you would like to have a look at a sample Perl script let me know.
