I am looking at ways of improving access to resources across Academic and Information Services for
part-time MSc students. The issues are:
1) How to keep MSc students up-to date with changes in the service?
2) How to help MSc students with technical problems?
3) How to eliminate problems with late delivery of passwords especially for people registering only for
one module.
A working party has been set-up , which includes the programme managers, to look at improving
communications with the students and ways of ensuring that the resources they need are available
[including library books on their reading lists] for the one week of each module when the students are
being taught on campus.
Fresh ideas on how to deal with these problems would be most welcome.
