LIBRARIES IT CLIENT OFFICER
Fixed-term until 31.3.2000
Wokingham District Council is preparing to replace its existing
automated library system and extend ICT access in its libraries and
schools as part of its contribution to NGfL. The Client Officer will
support the Libraries and Information Manager in planning and
implementing the required developments and provide support for
current systems.
Applicants should hold a recognised qualification in either library
and information science or the IT field, with appropriate
complementary knowledge and experience including project management.
Good interpersonal, team and communication skills are required, along
with initiative and flexibility. Knowledge of Windows NT, thin client
and CD networking would be an advantage.
Salary in range £25,245 - £28,464. Application form and details
