Interpreting the accounts
Understanding the key ratios: Liquidity, Profitability, Efficiency, and
Net Worth
Simple exercises using real data: How to calculate current ratio, the
acid test, profit margin, gearing and asset-backed value of shares.
Delegates will for example be able to identify if a company's cash
position is strong or if the company has cash-flow problems; similarly
whether performance is improving or declining and how the asset-backed
value of shares compares with the listed share price.
