A meeting orgainised by UK Online User Group
Informal information sources on the Internet provide a wealth of information
for those who work with, research or are simply users of media and cultural
studies material. This set of presentations and hands-on workshops will
examine the scope of information sources for media and cultural studies (from
fan forums to pressure group web sites), how these can be assembled for
teaching and research purposes, their commercial applications and how
information professionals might use them to meet the information needs of
general users.
