GRASMERE CONFERENCE 1998
WHO OWNS LEARNING?
27th Conference on Libraries and Learning Resources
NATFHE Library Section
to be held at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Grasmere,
Friday 6th to Monday 9th November, 1998
Everyone seems to have a claim on learning. Who should own it? The learner?
the institution? the Government? How student-centred is the learning
environment? What is our role in protecting that environment against the
many and sometimes conflicting interests of the stakeholders?
This year+s Grasmere conference promises to be every bit as stimulating and
relevant to our work as last year+s was. Here+s what they said about
Grasmere +97:
. Inspirational - let+s have more of the same!
. Lively sessions and groupwork
. Relevant and thought provoking
. Vibrant cross-section of information professionals
. Entertaining and informative speakers
. Great location
. It+s the friendliest conference I have ever been to!
You do not have to be a member of Natfhe to attend.
So what are you waiting for?! Send your booking form to me at the address
below.
