To the contrary, I find this listserv particularly useful. I am a
one-person information service, and regularly disseminate this
information to past colleagues in South Africa.
Just yesterday, I was searching lis-link's archives, and noticed that
many questions are answered direct to the sender, rather than to the
discussion group. I would suggest that all those that make information
requests of this list, either be sure to summarise their findings for the entire
list, or ask that those who reply, do so to the list.

Does any one else get fed-up with the endless stream of inane questions =
circulated on mailing lists - and then for heavens sake the answers. =
Many could be answered by one direct e-mail to one library or person =
(specifically to a public library).
Does no one think any more, or use their own library and colleagues!
