The British Library Research and Innovation Centre is issuing a Call
for Proposals for research into the value and impact of library and
information services.
A wide consultation with the profession has been held during the past
nine months to identify the various areas that require research.
Fourteen themes have been identified under three headings:
1) The social, educational and cultural impact of library and
information services
2) Economics of information provision
3) The economic impact of library and information services.
