The International Boundaries Research Unit works to enhance the
resources available for the peaceful resolution of problems associated
with international boundaries on land and at sea. The Unit is seeking
to appoint a highly motivated person primarily to assist with the
production of three series of publications on boundary and territorial
issues.
Under the guidance of the Editor, the Officer will be responsible for
producing and editing copy for the Boundary and Security Bulletin
news section and editing articles sourced from external authors. He/
she will also be responsible for securing and editing monographs from
external parties for IBRU's two series of Briefings. Candidates
should have previous editorial experience and an interest in
international affairs.
It is hoped that the Officer would develop their knowledge in this
field to the point where they are able to assist with the production
of consultancy reports, write their own articles for publication etc.
The appointment will be for one year in the first instance, commencing
on 1 January 1999.
