I AM RE-SENDING MY PREVIOUS MESSAGE BECAUSE IT WAS GARBLED BY THE SYSTEM - LOOKS LIKE MY LINE-WRAP SETTINGS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MAILBASE. APPOLOGIES FOR THE INCONVENIENCE
Ian,
Yes, there is a sort of message, but I'm afraid we were bounced into organising the whole thing on a much shorter timescale than would have been desirable when the 'one-off' opportunity to link in with Frank Dobson's visit came up.
Having said that, we did know the date in late July and if I had not been intent on getting away on holiday and/or we had had our coordinator in post at the time we might have made this general announcement earlier (partners in the NoEIHI did get to know then).
Rest assured that this will not be the last event of its type, and that we will aim organise future meetings in a more orderly way.
Sorry.
Chris Taylor

This looks very interesting but, not having heard about it elsewhere,
this sort of notice makes it impossible to attend. Is there a lesson in
there somewhere?
