I use a similar setup with the variation that I have a second primary
partition - not usually active into which I copy my whole C drive
( about 1.2 GB ) using partition magic version 4
I keep data and most programs on drives d and e
One major advantage of this is that if the settings Windows do pearshaped
- I can change the active partition back to the previously working setup
I found this also the only safe way of upgrading from win95 to win98 -
without needing to reinstall anything
