I am sure that you have given her a realistic view of GP.
If she is as bright as you say then she must have made
an informed decision.
Perhaps she sees advantages to the job of which you, perhaps
being too close, sometimes lose sight.
There can't be a better start to a career in medicine than
to have seen your father (or mother) working as a GP in
the 90s. At least you'll know what you're getting yourself
into.
My children are all young and your problem isn't mine.
Change what you can and accept what you can't.
Medicine is a noble profession.
Whatever anyone else says.
