This isn't as bad as the year that the prescribing guidance came out on 24th
Dec saying we had to set final budgets on the 23rd.
I think that the draft PCIP has to be out by 31st Jan, which isn't too
difficult. I can send you a model if you want. Looks like about four/five
days work for one person to me, so your CEO is being a bit pessimistic -
although it may well be your HA isn't providing enough support. Add a small
amount of work, and the HImP can be done too.
The full version of the PCIP doesn't have to be out until late next year.
The trick here is to fill the boxes with least effort so that PCGs can
concentrate on maximising resources in primary care. And whatever anyone
else may think, express an interest in becoming a trust - you don't lose by
doing so, and you don't have to go.
