He may have been sitting there waiting to say that about many of the
drugs his ctee is obliged to licence under the existing legislation
(which I believe to be broadly satisfactory).
Now he has a wonderful chance to do so. I don't see a conflict in
his being able to say what he thinks about them as well as presiding
over licencing them.
Who would your favoured candidate have been (serious question)
I don't know Rawlins, and hadn't thought hard about it before, but I
think Prof Jarman (St Mary's) would have been on my shortlist.
