I know that one because it happens to me. Chances are she is receiving Word
attachments in a version younger than her Word. I have Word v2c on this
machine while most of you lot have Word 97; anything written in W97 will
open in my version of Word but there are loads of little boxes which I
think are the formatting codes and such that 2c doesn't have. The text
will appear too but all broken up and hard to read.
Moral of the story? Everyone stick to ASCII.
