The medical centre of the future will only have a dog and a medic.
The medic is there to feed the dog.
The dog is there to stop the medic touching the equipment.
A vision:
Medical knowledge on demand:
The ability to have access to high quality medical care anywhere,
anytime, irrespective of distance or location.
This calls for a global, real time, multi-point and integrated medical
communications infrastructure.
The new vision is needed to look and gain insights into all the
practical and sociological implications.
The doctor of the future will vend his/her knowledge on demand.
I am tired of old medicine and old ideas.
New Medicine: here I come.
To be continued. Next chapter: an examination of what is driving the
thing.
