I would find this very interesting too. For example with statins the drug
companies say LFTs from time to time - no rep or BNF for that matter has
given clear guidance.

Subject: Drug Monitoring
Drug Monitoring Protocols
Does anyone have ready made policies for the monitoring of drugs that
require blood tests. I’m thinking of things like Lithium, Thyroxine,
Statins and ACE Inhibitors? I found lots of detail on rheumatology drugs
but less on the above. Still none of it is referenced so ? any of it
evidence based!
I want to standardise the management within my practice.
Thanks
Shaun
