This was a problem we looked into by Multifunds four years ago. A number of
Multifunds like Birmingham became incorporated. We also set up a short-lived
MSO ( medical Support Organisation) which operated in Kington for a while and I
believe there is one on the Isle of Wight.
There are concerns over declarations of interest to PCG boards, share-ownership,
insider- trading, VAT, data sharing, etc. etc. However I still think a Primary
care co-operatively owned company would work. I feel it should be national and
jointly owned.
