I have been with GP-UK for 18 months and have been bored, affronted (like
now ;-), impressed, plain mystified (usually Midge) but always the shear
breadth and diversity of the postings and entertainment keep me coming back
night after night. It is even a topic of daytime conversation with
colleagues locally who like me are privileged to be part of GP-UK. (No I am
not addicted ;-))

Hehehe no comment.

Whilst noting AH's comment that this is an academic list it is more, much
more than that. If we had to confine ourselves to clinical matters reckon we
would soon join the activity of the EBM lists. I have learnt more non
medical things on this list than medical. Classical music, books, wines,
cars (NO!!), poetry (is KT back yet??), computers bigtime. Long may it
continue. SAOLs yup happy with those too!

WTF is an average GP?? No such thing! :-p I enjoy and support the variety of
GP and am concerned over what does appear to be the progression of protocols
guidelines RBMs all seemingly aimed for peapod docs inc. (Not answering the
comment there but what the heck)

I'll get the kiwi bootpolish out _if_ you insist but conformity of opinion
is not (yet) a requirement of GP!

No chance. I'm more worried about that big 2Mb file that Hotch has up his
sleeve.
