This is top advice, but for one thing... time.
I certainly don't have (or can't summon the energy
to find) the time to do all of this.
It *is* much easier to give them what they want.
Frankly, I really couldn't care less whether or not
the patient gets ranitidine or Zantac.
Not strictly true. I have some feelings as a taxpayer.
But then I'm happy the more people smoke, because the
less tax I have to pay.
BTW, the consultant of the chap with hypogonadotrophic
hypogonadism rang me in surgery at 5.45pm. For once
on a Friday I'd actually finished surgery. Had a very
nice chat and sorted out a few things - hopefully to
the benefit of all concerned :)
