<< So what do I
do? Give in each time, suggest they find another doctor, remove them from
the list, or simply stand my ground and tough it out next time?>>
I sympathise---I have had a few like that over the years and I now believe
that it is pointless to try reasonable argument with them. You only get
yourself upset. They tend to come round eventually most times and I
suppose those who don't end up dead.
How about writing the father a brief note along the lines of offering them
best treatment, reiterating that no asthma expert would agree with using
antibiotics for flare-ups, quite happy to see them again if they are happy
to accept your advice but if they find that impossible then they should
find another doctor.
